Spring wardrobe additions

Me and my bank balance have seriously fallen out this month… there’s just so many new Spring/ Summer clothes out at the moment that I really love but really shouldn’t be buying! I’ve done quite a few orders recently so not all of the pieces featured are brand new but have been sitting in my wardrobe waiting for some sunny weather to get a chance to be worn!

I’m loving statement tees, floaty colourful/ printed trousers, and plain bodysuits or vests to layer with chunky cardigans or a denim jacket until the Summer truly arrives! All these pieces are super affordable high street/ online products and I’ll leave links below where I can!

I’m loving wearing slogan t-shirts either tucked into jeans or tied at the front to make them more cropped for a more summery/ evening look. A plain white tee is always a wardrobe staple so this Voulez Vous one from New Lookย is so versatile and just adds something extra to a simple look. This Promises t-shirt is from Primark and I believe it comes in a white version as well which I’ve seen so many people wearing! Primark is perfect for picking up basics like this as they’re so cheap and you can stock up on loads of different styles.

This camel coloured ribbed bodysuit is from Boohoo, I love neutral tones for warm weather and, again, it’s so versatile to go with any outfit! Everyone loves a basic!

Floaty shirts and blouses are another obvious Spring/ Summer staple! These are both from Primark (can you tell I did a big Primark shop recently…?) and, while I have to admit the fabric quality isn’t the best, they’re both perfect ‘jeans and a nice top’ tops to thrown on for a few drinks!

The white shirt is slightly cropped and ties at the front which would look gorgeous with a lacy bralet underneath and some high waited jeans.

Next are colourful, floaty trousers! I do still love jeans but I feel like wearing colour is the best way to feel summery, not to mention you boil in black skinny jeans when the sun’s out! The black and white stripy pair are from Zara, I bought them in the January sales so I doubt they are still available but stripy trousers are such a massive trend at the moment you’ll be able to find a pair anywhere! The fabric is a stretchy fit which is so flattering and they split on the front of your calf to give a flared look, which I love!

The green pair are super wide leg trousers from the ASOS Tall collection, I’m 5ft9″ and I had to take 4/5″ off the length of the legs when they arrived so bear that in mind if you’re shorter! However they are so flattering due to them being so wide and loose fitting, they look amazing with cropped white tops!

The dusky pink pair are from Primark again *shock!* They’re a cropped, culotte style with a tie belt in a more tailored style than the other two pairs. Perfect for Summer!

The last two items are these pairs of shoes from Boohoo. I wanted some smarter shoes that I could wear on a night out, being 5ft9″ heels aren’t really an option for me unfortunately. I went for black so I could wear them with any outfit and I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of both pairs over the next few months as they are sandal style.
