Gold Details

Recently I’ve been loving wearing gold jewellery and accessories with my outfits, especially now that Spring is (hopefully) on it’s way- Winter seems to have lasted foreverrr in the UK! I think that gold jewellery around your face, like earrings and necklaces, really helps brighten the appearance of your complexion and makes your skin look brighter and dewy with all the gold light it can reflect, perfect for spring/summer! I have a few piercings in my ears which I very rarely change and these have silver earrings in, which I don’t mind as I like the mix of the two metals.

Layered necklaces have been a massive trend for a while now and  pictures of bloggers styling floaty camisoles or shirts with various pendants are constantly popping up on my insta feed. I love Lucy William’s collection with Missoma and the way that she styles all of her designs stacked up, however most of them were out of my budget so I managed to find some great dupes on Etsy.com and from high street shops!

This delicate chain has beautiful pearl-like details on it which have quite a vintage feel. I believe it used to belong to my grandma, I used to play dress-up in it when I went to stay at her house when I was younger and have started wearing on an almost daily basis now- love it!

This plain necklace with a circle pendant is from H&M, it came with a black chocker with the same pendant on it which are also nice to layer which each other for a bolder, evening look.

The large gold hoop earrings are from Topshop and although they look very chunky they are still very light and I love to wear them with smaller hoops in my second ear piercing.

The triangle earrings are ones I made myself a while ago- hence why they’re a little bent, woops!

Watch is Oasis which I received for Christmas a few years ago- sold on ASOS.

The light gold horn necklace and the double layered, brighter gold chocker are both from Les Etoiles Sont Mortes, which are an independent jewellery brand I found on Etsy.com. They sell loads of similar styles to Missoma but at more affordable prices and the quality is lovely, I’ve a few of their gold hoops on my wishlist!

This gondola necklace is one of my faves! I bought it from ASOS a few years ago, it’s gold plated so hasn’t worn at all and I love how unique the design is and the fact that it is still small enough to layer with others.

I love layered necklaces worn with low cut shirts or blouses, this one is from Primark, it has fluted three quarter length sleeves and tie detailing at the front which I have tucked into my jeans.

The cardigan is from New Look, shaggy cardigans are another massive trend which I’m loving at the moment, this is a brilliant dupe for the &OtherStories one! It’s surprisingly warm and goes with everything!

Jeans are the Topshop Jamie jeans and the belt is from New look, I love the gold buckles to compliment my jewellery!
